Hi, I’m Helen,
a therapist (MNCPs Acc.), mum of two, and lifelong people-watcher.
I’ve always been fascinated by what makes us tick — why we behave the way we do, the stories we tell ourselves, and the patterns we carry from childhood into adulthood.
Therapy is actually my second career. After years of working in fast-paced, client-facing roles, I hit a point where I realised I was coasting — saying yes when I wanted to say no, overfunctioning, and ignoring what I really needed.
Those small, honest shifts in my own life opened the door to something bigger: a way of living that feels more real, grounded, and meaningful.
That’s what I want for you too.
My approach is modern, collaborative, and completely tailored to you. It’s not about textbook theory or quick fixes. We’ll laugh, cry, and sometimes sit in the tough stuff — but you’ll always be in a safe, compassionate space. I encourage reflection, journaling, and self-advocacy, because understanding yourself is the foundation for lasting change.
I specialise in supporting parents (of any gender) break free from old, unhelpful patterns that no longer serve them. If you’ve ever felt stuck in habits or beliefs rooted in your past, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to stay there.
Change is possible, healing is possible, and you are enough.
When I’m not in my therapy room, you’ll usually find me out walking on the moors, glued to a good documentary, or laughing with friends over a bag of sweet and salty popcorn (because why choose?).
If you’re ready to stop coasting and start living on your terms — I’d love to meet you.
